About Religious Community Services of New Bern, Inc. We were founded in 1982 by Sister Angela Mary with her soup station wagon in New Bern, NC. We are a faith-based non-profit where we are building a better community by providing food and shelter to those who need it. We want to serve and provide comfort to your mind, body and soul. We want you to help you in your darkest times when you need emergency solutions. We aim to give peopl relief in disaters, food when they are in need and clothes to fit them in the perfect time of wheater. We are a safe haven.

Religious Community Services have a community kitchen where we never close and we feed everybody 365 days a year. We aim to also build better people. This is not a place where we want people to feel sad. They should never feel sad abou needing help. This is a place where you will gain resources to bounce back 10x stronger. We believe that God placed in Sister Mary 41 years ago people to not go hungry. We believe that God gave us a mandate that people will not go hungry in their minds because of the programs we have and in their stomachs. As well as many more we do.
